During the Spring Festival, my family and I experienced a truly joyful time filled with laughter and exciting adventures. The preparations for the festival began weeks before with a thorough cleaning of our house, symbolizing the sweeping away of bad luck and welcoming good fortune. My parents decorated the living room with red lanterns, couplets, and paper cuttings, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

One of the most memorable experiences was the family reunion dinner on Chinese New Year's Eve. The table was laden with delicious dishes, including dumplings, fish, and spring rolls, each carrying its own symbolic meaning for prosperity and good health. As we shared stories and laughter, the warmth of family bonds deepened.

Another highlight was the firecracker display. On the night of the New Year, we went outside to watch the spectacular fireworks light up the sky. The bursts of colors and the loud bangs created a sense of wonder and excitement. We also tried setting off some small firecrackers ourselves, which was both thrilling and a bit challenging!

Visiting relatives and friends was another enjoyable part of the festival. Wearing new clothes and exchanging red envelopes filled with money, we wished each other good luck and happiness. The children especially loved receiving these envelopes, and the laughter and joy were infectious.
